Had a lovely morning's sail along the coast from Whitehills to Lossiemouth. With a following wind, I was able to sail all the way. It gets me a little closer to Wick ready for the crossing to Orkney, and is a good place to rest up a few days waiting for better weather.

Lossiemouth has an RAF base just outside the town, and there are regular flights of Tornados and Typhoons roaring past - they put on a terrific show! There are excellent facilities here, so a great opportunity to catch up with the washing and a few minor repairs on the boat. Tomorrow I'm planning on taking the bus into Inverness and acting the tourist for a while.
