How the other 0.0001% live

Another fine sailing day has brought me to Torquay. It's not hard to see why they call it the English Riviera. The sea front is lined with palm trees and the quay is lined with some of the grandest boats I've ever seen. Mind you, they don't have sails so I wouldn't have one if you gave it to me. Although I reserve the right to change my mind on that one...

I spent a day ashore here, and took the steam train along the coast to Dartmouth.

Tomorrow I head across Lyme Bay and around Portland. I have to make an early start to catch the tides right, so it'll be an early night tonight.
