Waiting in Lossiemouth

Here I am on the visitor's pontoon at Lossiemouth. The weather has been very rough with driving rain most of the time. I've been waiting for a break in the weather so I can make progress, but at the moment there's nothing to do but sit it out.

I went into the nearest town (Elgin) on one day just for a change of scenery. Didn't find any marbles, but came across a Scottish delicatessen and whiskey shop. Such an amazing variety of produce and whiskeys beyond counting - there was one bottle up for sale at £16,000. I checked my wallet but didn't have the right change so had to pass on that one.

I enjoyed a Scottish breakfast one morning at the Harbour Lights cafe just where I took this photo from. There was toast, sausage, eggs, bacon, tomato, beans, haggis, black pudding and a steak patty. It was wonderful, but I don't think you could eat that too often and survive!
