That's one small step for man....
Apologies for lack of posts over the last few days; Internet connections have been few and unreliable.
After the crossing from Scotland, I stayed in Ballycastle for a couple of nights and took the opportunity for some sightseeing. A short bus ride took me to the Giant's Causeway which was fairly deserted when I got there. After a while, many coachloads of folk turned up and it got quite crowded.
I had a little while to wait before the next bus came, and I found a lovely old-fashioned station for a tramline going along the coast to Bushmills. It was just like the one in Brief Encounter, with a little cafe and an open coal fire. A very welcome relief from the chilly wind!
